Route plan

The route planning has started. There are not too many route options to select from. The most interesting part will be the North Sea with the tide effect. After the North Sea the route will go via the Kiel to the Baltic sea.

It is estimated that the whole trip will take from three to four weeks. The idea is to have a nice journey with  the family and good friends.

Currently the route plan is the following: Kampen (24th of May) - Stavoren - Harlingen - Vlieland (Holland) - North Sea - Cuxhaven/Brunsbuttel (Germany) - Kiel Channel - Kiel (Germany) - Copenhagen (Denmark) - Baltic Sea - Öland (Sweden) - Gotland - Eastern Coast of Sweden - Western Coast of Finland - Kokkola (Finland)

The total length of the trip will be aprox. 1200 nm meaning 2100 km; sounds like a quite long trip.
